A SEARCH of a Melba man’s home has allegedly revealed two bags of suspected cocaine, $25,000, knuckle dusters, steroids, hormones and other drug paraphernalia.

About 9.20am yesterday (September 20) detectives executed a search warrant at the 33-year-old’s residence on Sampson Close, Melba.

During the search, two individual freezer bags were located containing a white powder – suspected to be cocaine – approximately $25,000, two pairs of knuckle dusters, a large number of vials and containers of anabolic steroids, human growth hormones and other prohibited substances, and other drug paraphernalia including digital scales and clip seal bags.

The man was present at the time of the search warrant execution and was arrested.

He has been charged with drug trafficking, possessing a prohibited weapon and possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.

He will face court today, where police will oppose bail.
